The Regret Nothing Guarantee promises an Ephemeral tattoo (hereby known as “tattoo”) that is intended to Last at Least a Year, with a Maximum Fade Duration of three years and has Best-in-Class Tattoo quality. We say “intended” because every individual and tattoo is different, and there will be some Ephemeral customers who have tattoos that last less than one year or more than three years, and some will see areas they would like to touch up after they receive their tattoo. Our Regret Nothing Guarantee is intended to help those customers have a better experience.

Other terms in our Regret Nothing Guarantee are defined as follows:

• “Lasts at Least a Year”

• We define a tattoo as lasting until it disappears, and state that a tattoo has disappeared once it is a vibrancy of 1 as defined by the “vibrancy guide” below.  Evaluation of vibrancy for the Regret Nothing Guarantee is done solely by Ephemeral Studio.

• In the event a tattoo lasts less than a year, Ephemeral will offer a complimentary tattoo that is the same or lesser value than your original tattoo.

• “Maximum Fade Duration”

• We define a tattoo as lasting until it disappears, and state that a tattoo has disappeared once it is a vibrancy of 1 as defined by the “vibrancy guide” below.  Evaluation of vibrancy for the Regret Nothing Guarantee is done solely by Ephemeral Studio.

• In the event a tattoo lasts greater than three years, Ephemeral will offer a full refund of the purchase price of the original tattoo.

• “Best-in-Class Tattoo”

• Upon customer request, Ephemeral Studio will evaluate whether it is possible to add details or re-apply lines to an existing tattoo (hereby known as “touch up”) without negatively impacting the tattoo’s healing or fade quality.

• In the event Ephemeral Studio determines a touch up will not negatively impact the tattoo’s healing or fade quality, Ephemeral Studio will offer a complimentary touch up so long as it occurs within 60 days of the original tattoo appointment date.

• If a touch up is applied to the tattoo, the “Lasts a Year” and “Maximum Fade Duration” guarantees will begin from the date of the touch up.

• Touch ups will only be provided if the customer is permitted to receive a tattoo at the time if the touch up under applicable law.

• The Best-in-Class Tattoo guarantee only applies to original tattoos, and not touched up tattoos.

These terms and conditions apply to Ephemeral’s Black made-to-fade ink and for tattoos applied on body parts defined by Ephemeral, which excludes the head, genitals, breast, armpit, front of neck, face, feet, fingers, hands, elbows, knees. This guarantee applies to all tattoos applied since 2021. For touched up tattoos, the ”Maximum Fade Duration” and “Lasts at Least a Year” guarantee runs from the time of the touch up, not the original tattoo appointment date.  Guarantees are void if aftercare instructions are not followed or if the tattooed area is injured or damaged by circumstances outside of Ephemeral’s control.
